Manono Island Beach Fales was badly damaged by the tsunami that hit the south coast of Upolu Island on 30th September 2009. We expect the resort to be closed for some time for re-development and will update this page as news develops.

About Manono Island Beach Fales
Each fale is finely crafted. The two beach fales are set on a tiny cove beach with hammock. The beach is small but of fine sand and at high tide the water comes right up to the rocks and under the fales. The lagoon is great for swimming.

Your hosts provide excellent fresh food and ample fruits from their large tropical fruit garden. Manono is an idyllic island with 4 villages, no cars and no barking dogs. A coastal track circles the island passing through forest and villages and offers great views of the coastline. This is a very traditional place and on Sunday very little is permitted except for church.
