On Manono Island off the west coast of Upolu are Samoa's best over-the-water beach fales with private verandah and staircase down to the sea, excellent food, idyllic island with 4 villages and no cars or dogs.

About Manono Island Beach Fales
Each fale is finely crafted. The two beach fales are set on a tiny cove beach with hammock. The beach is small but of fine sand and at high tide the water comes right up to the rocks and under the fales. The lagoon is great for swimming.

Your hosts provide excellent fresh food and ample fruits from their large tropical fruit garden. Manono is an idyllic island with 4 villages, no cars and no barking dogs. A coastal track circles the island passing through forest and villages and offers great views of the coastline. This is a very traditional place and on Sunday very little is permitted except for church.
